How to explain CleverSeal to your customers

The tone and wording that keep the customer relationship calm while setting a clear, defensible standard.

On the product page

"Every garment ships with a small CleverSeal label so you know it arrives fresh and untouched. Try it on as you would in a shop — the label doesn't get in the way. If it isn't right, send it back with the label intact and we'll refund you in full."

In the return policy

"CleverSeal is a small return-control label attached to your garment. It helps us assess returns consistently and fairly. If the label is intact, that supports a straightforward refund. If the label has been removed, we still process your withdrawal, but the missing seal is treated as objective evidence of handling that we consider — together with the condition of the garment — when assessing whether any diminished value should be reflected in the refund, in line with Article 14(2) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive."
