Warehouse Manual — CleverSeal SOP

Purpose Ensure every outgoing garment carries a CleverSeal, correctly placed, and every incoming return is inspected consistently.

1. Setup

• Applicator lives at the packing station, plugged in, warm and ready before the first shift.
• One backup roll within arm's reach; second backup in the drawer.
• Poster with the 3-step workflow visible above the station.

2. Application

1. Complete standard pick + pack.
2. Locate the primary care tag on the inside seam.
3. Position the CleverSeal so the tag threads through the seal's slot.
4. Press for 2 seconds. Release. Confirm the seal is flat.
5. Fold and pack as normal.

3. Common mistakes

• Applying to the wrong tag (choose the primary care tag, not a size tag).
• Skewing the seal — always align with the tag's long axis.
• Applying with a cold applicator on the first order of the shift.

4. Incoming returns

• Photograph the package before opening.
• Inspect using the Return Inspection Checklist.
• If the CleverSeal is missing or damaged: photograph, log, and route to the Returns lead.

5. End-of-shift

• Wipe the applicator with a dry cloth.
• Log the roll usage.
• Report any label defects.

6. Escalation

• Applicator fault → CleverSeal support (via portal).
• Repeated return anomalies → Returns lead + Customer service lead.
